When you use GeoProof, we may collect the following information:
— Business name and location you submit for scanning
— Email address, if you provide one to receive your audit report
— Scan results, including AI platform responses and visibility scores
— Basic usage data such as pages visited and scan frequency
— Payment information if you subscribe to a paid plan (processed by Stripe; we do not store card details)
— To perform AI visibility scans and generate audit reports
— To send you scan results and follow-up communications you have requested
— To improve our scanning accuracy and platform coverage
— To process payments for subscription services
We do not sell your data. We do not share your personal information with third parties for their marketing purposes.
GeoProof uses third-party services to operate. These include:
— OpenAI, Google, and Perplexity APIs to query AI platforms during scans
— Anthropic API for response analysis
— Stripe for payment processing
— SendGrid for email delivery
— Vercel for hosting
Each service operates under its own privacy policy. We only share the minimum data required for each service to function.
If we send you an email, it will contain a clear unsubscribe link. You can opt out at any time by clicking unsubscribe or replying “stop.” We honor all opt-out requests within 24 hours.
We do not purchase email lists. We only contact businesses using publicly available contact information from their own websites.
We retain scan results and account data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide our services. You may request deletion of your data at any time by emailing info@geoproof.ai.
GeoProof uses essential cookies required for the site to function. We do not use advertising cookies or third-party tracking cookies.
We use industry-standard security measures to protect your data, including encrypted connections (HTTPS), secure API key management, and access controls. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect the information you provide.
